I'm a software engineer working on backend and infrastructure systems, where correctness, reliability, and long-running workflows matter.
In my professional work at Cloudera , I build and evolve control-plane services and APIs that manage cluster lifecycles and production operations. This involves reasoning about distributed state, failure scenarios, idempotency, and observability, and making sure systems behave predictably even when things go wrong. A large part of my work lives at the intersection of API design, orchestration, and operational correctness, where small decisions can have outsized impact in production.
Alongside my professional work, I enjoy building systems from first principles to better understand how things work under the hood. I gravitate towards storage engines and data systems, and prefer implementing ideas end-to-end — from core data structures to execution flow — to internalize the trade-offs involved in building reliable systems.
